Larania Gail Bond, age 65, of 3403 New Pond Road, passed away at her home on Thursday, November 22, 2018. Born in Anderson on July 26, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Berry L. Bond and the late Gaynell Milford Bond. Gail was a graduate of T. L. Hanna High School, Class of 1971. She attended Forrest College and was employed as a secretary in various Anderson area law firms. In her spare time Gail enjoyed gardening and she loved studying history, especially Civil War history. Survivors include her son, Justin M. Bond and his wife, Allison, of Anderson; a brother, Randall Bond of Anderson; and three grandchildren, Brenya Bond, Sophia Fowler, and Elliana Fowler. A graveside service to celebrate and honor the life of Gail Bond will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at 2:00pm Wednesday, November 28, 2018 with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12-1:30pm.
