Gail Floyd Belton, SC Bonnie Gail Floyd, age 59, of Belton, SC, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of Bonnie Harrison Head Hart, of Anderson, SC and the late Romaine Head. She was a 1972 graduate of BHP and of Tri County Technical College. Gail was formerly employed as a surgical tech at AnMed Health and later worked in the Home Health division. She was the owner and operator of Gail's Flowers and Gifts in Laurens, SC with a location at the Anderson Jockey Lot. She was a faithful member of Broadway Lake Baptist Church, where she taught the Ladies Sunday School Class, she was a former teacher of their Vacation Bible School and of the children's choir. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Ray Floyd; a son, Brandon Floyd and his wife Katie, of Marietta, SC; a daughter, Amanda Edmonds and her husband Thomas, of Anderson, SC; two brothers, Marshall Head, of Anderson, SC and Steven Head, of Palm Harbor, FL; two sisters, Suzie Gaillard and Pam Crumpton, both of Anderson, SC; and a grandson, Jacob Floyd. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Bobby J. Hart. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 16, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Broadway Lake Baptist Church with Reverend Dwight Greene and Reverend Mack Gilliam officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, June 15, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Flowers are optional.
