Garrissie Dutton Fields Gault, age 86, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, SC, on July 5, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Garrison Dutton and the late Gussie McCall Dutton. She worked in textiles for many years. Garrissie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Norris Ray Gault; children, Evelyn Fay Gilstrap and her husband Timothy, of Spartanburg, SC, and Linda Gail McGill and her husband Thomas, of Seneca, SC; a brother, Maxie Dutton and his wife Betty, of Hartwell, GA; 8 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Sam Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the funeral home, prior to the service, on Wednesday, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Association of Anderson, 215 E.
