KESLERJUNE 16, 1941 - DeceMBER 22, 2008ANDERSON, SC ' Gary Herschel Kesler, age 67, of 200 Francis Cannon Drive passed away on Monday, December 22, 2008, at the Rainey Hospice House.Born in Franklin County, GA on June 16, 1941, he was a son of the late Herschel Kesler and Ovis Hemphill Kesler. Mr. Kesler graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. He was a farmer and a former excavation contractor. In addition, he had formerly served on the Georgia Soybean Commission and was a recipient of the 1976-1977 Northeast Georgia Farm Family of the Year award. Mr. Kesler was a member of Young Memorial Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church where he has served as a Deacon and Elder.Survivors include his wife, Ann Temple Kesler, of the home; a son, Kyle Kesler and wife, Angela Kesler of Anderson, SC; a daughter, Anna Kesler McDonald and husband, Jamie McDonald of Buford, GA; two grandchildren: Lauren Kesler and Karlee Kesler; three sisters: Dot Snyder of Hartwell, GA, Ann Cheek of Bowersville, GA, and Wassie Vickery of Hartwell, GA; and a brother, Edwin Kesler, also of Hartwell, GA.A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday, December 27th, at Young Memorial A.R.P. Church, conducted by the Reverend Dean Woods.
