GARY MOORE March 17, 1946 - August 3, 2005 ANDERSON, SCMr. Gary Lee Moore, age 59, husband of Clara Hayes Moore of 303 Maria Drive, Anderson, SC, died Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at the Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC, he was a son of the late James Thomas Moore, Sr., and Thelma Jones Moore. He was a 1964 graduate of T. L. Hanna High School and attended Anderson College. He was retired from the Singer Company as a supervisor and served in the United States Army Reserves. He was a member of West Anderson Church of God.Survivors include his wife, Clara Hayes Moore of the home; son, Christopher Lee Moore of Anderson, SC; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Moore of Anderson, SC; brothers, Jerry Dean 'Butch' Moore and James Thomas 'Tommy' Moore, Jr., both of Anderson, SC, Timothy Eugene Moore of Powdersville, SC and Mark Anthony Moore of Belton, SC; sister, Pamela Moore Fields of Belton, SC; two step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Priscilla 'Patsy' Anderson.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2005 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home by the Reverends John M. Daniel and Mark Daniel. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 5, 2005 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are optional.
