Gary D. Redmond, age 69, of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, with his family by his side. Born December 16, 1952, in Yonkers, NY, he was the son of the late John and Gertrude Maloney Redmond. In his spare time Gary enjoyed music and working in the yard. He loved his dogs and his family dearly, especially his children and grandchildren, and time spent with them brought him the most joy. He is survived by his wife, Vicki Bolt Redmond; son, Robert Glackin (Amanda) of Inman, SC; daughter, Christy Glackin of Toccoa, GA; brothers, Johnny Redmond (Ann) of Connecticut, Greg Redmond of Florida, and Peter Redmond (Cara) of New Jersey; sisters, Katherine Masiello of New York, Marilyn Redmond of New York, Susan Santoro of New York, and Denise Sutton (Lee) of Florida; and eight grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 23, 2022, from 2:00-4:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home.
