WHITLOCK December 14, 1943 - December 19, 2010ANDERSON, SCGary Lamar Whitlock, age 67, of 539 Drayton Circle, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2010, at his home.Born in Anderson, SC, on December 14, 1943, he was a son of the late Harold Edward Whitlock and Miriam Ruth Hanna Whitlock. Mr. Whitlock retired from Mt. Vernon Mills in Pendleton and was a US Army veteran. He was an avid Gamecock fan.Survivors include his daughter, Kelli Whitlock of Anderson; his son, Jeff Whitlock of Columbia; and a granddaughter, Kendall Whitlock of Anderson.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Harold Terry Whitlock.The Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, December 22, 2010, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend J. Floyd Stansell, Jr. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family is at the residence and will receive friends at the funeral home from 12noon until 1pm on Wednesday.
