Gelola "Jo" Mae Bradley Weaver, 86, slipped past her life on earth on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. Jo was a native of Rock Hill, SC and was a funny, demanding, and caring person for her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Weaver, and her two only sons, Scott Weaver and Brett Weaver. She is survived by her granddaughter Jenny Weaver, grandson Adam Weaver, and grandson Jeremy Weaver (Emily). She will also be remembered as "GiGi" by two great-grandsons, Tucker and Colin Weaver. For most of her life she worked at Clark Schwebel. While at home she cared for her husband and cooked amazing country food. She had a green thumb and loved yellow roses. Her garden on Chestnut Boulevard was a sight to behold most years. The family is extremely grateful for friends throughout the years who have helped the Weavers during their lives in Anderson. You are the beautiful hands of Christ. The family is also extremely grateful for the care of Dr. Bill Walker, Dr. Newman Harter, and the staff of Anderson Place for their years of faithful care. Thank you for living out your calling in her life. The service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Jones officiating. A private family burial will follow.
