Geneva Johnson Taylor Anderson, SC Geneva Johnson Taylor, age 87, resident of North Pointe Assisted Living, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC on August 28, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Charles B. Johnson and Essie C. Johnson. She graduated from Girls High School and was retired from Sears. She was a faithful member of Pope Drive Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia T. Dunn and her husband Tommy; sister, Bonnie Johnson McCoy; three grandchildren, Kevin Dunn and wife Sally, Kimberly D. Addis and her husband Greg, and Jimmy Dunn and his wife Brannan; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ralph Edward Taylor; sons, Charles Edward Taylor and Ralph LaVerne Taylor; brother, Walter Lee Johnson; and sister, Louise Johnson Durham. The funeral service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Dr. Mack Tester and Reverend Michael Kindard. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum. The family will receive friends following the service.
