Genevieve P. King, age 90, of Anderson, SC passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Linley Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Born May 27, 1927, in Oconee County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Clayton Price and the late Lou Hembree Price. She attended Broadway Lake Baptist Church. Genevieve is survived by her sons, Larry King (Linda), Roger King (Yvonne) and David King (Sallie); brother, Ted Price; sisters, Sallie Mae Rhodes and Patsy Price; six grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur David King; children, Charlotte Diana King and Tommy Eugene King; brother, Reese Price and sister, Marie Tripp. The family will be at the home of her son Roger King, 442 Charles Reed Road, Iva, SC and will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday, October 26, 2017 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday at Oakway Wesleyan Church with Rev. Early Tucker and Rev. John Daniel officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
