George Beauford "Beau" Langer, age 75, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Dekalb County, George lived most of his life in Sarasota, FL before moving to Anderson 27 years ago. He was the son of Guy Lewis Langer and Margery Derdeyn from Sarasota, both deceased, and was also preceded in death by a brother, Guy Langer, Jr. He is survived by his partner of 36 years, Catherine Hill Cutting. Mr. Langer was an Air Force veteran, a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Anderson, SC, and an avid proponent of organ and tissue donation. A simple ceremony will be held at Grace Episcopal Church on Friday, May 27, 2016, at 11:00 a.m.with the Reverend Father John B. Hardaway, IV officiating.
