WILLIAMSTON, SC'Mr. George Reid Mullikin, age 82, husband of Elizabeth B. Mullikin, of 2324 Beaverdam Road, Williamston, SC died Friday, January 6, 2006 at his residence.Born in Greenville County, SC on July 12, 1923, Mr. Mullikin was a son of the late Guyton Mullikin and the late Nina Reid Mullikin. He retired from Trans Continental Gas and Pipeline. Mr. Mullikin also volunteered with Meals on Wheels and was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church in Williamston, SC.Mr. Mullikin was the loving husband of his wife, Elizabeth B. Mullikin of the home and loving father of his son, Donald Rhett Mullikin and his wife Sherry of Williamston, SC. He is also survived by a sister, Virginia Shirley of Greenville, SC; three grandchildren, Erin, Glen, and Ryan Mullikin; and a step-grandson, Charles D. Owens, II. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mullikin was preceded in death by a son, Dwight Reid Mullikin and a brother, Robert Mullikin.The family is at the residence.
