GEORGE ROZAKOS February 27, 1963 - September 23, 2008ANDERSON, SCMr. George John Rozakos, age 45, of 1705 College Avenue, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Greenville, SC on February 27, 1963, Mr. Rozakos was a son of Johnny and Rita Lancianese Rozakos. He was a 1981 graduate of T. L. Hanna High School and was the owner and operator of Pete's on Concord Restaurant for 25 years. He was the co-founder and co-chairman of the Annual Greek Festival in Anderson and was very instrumental in the building of the Chapel of Paracletos Greek Orthodox Monastery in Antreville, SC. He was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Greenville. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Carrie Rozakos of the home; sons, John George Rozakos and Anthony George Rozakos of the home; brother, Chris Rozakos and his wife, Shae; sister, Jennifer Rozakos Burgess and her husband, Darrell; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dianne and Neil Whitfield, all of Anderson and nephew and niece, Nicholas and Anastasia Rozakos. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2008, at 11:00 am at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Greenville, conducted by Father Tom Pistolis. A Committal Service will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park at 1:00 pm.The family will receive friends in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, September 25, 2008, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Trisagion Service will be held at 7:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Paracletos Greek Orthodox Monastery, P.O.
