George Henry Taylor Jr., age 64, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016, at the Legacy Assisted Living in Anderson, SC. Born in Greensboro, NC, on December 8, 1951, he was the son of George Taylor and Jean Taylor, of Anderson, SC. He was a 1970 graduate of T.L. Hanna High School. He worked in textiles for many years, serving in many places, including, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, finally retiring to Anderson, SC. Henry was an avid Clemson Tiger fan. He enjoyed life and his family, no matter where he was in the United States, he always put them first. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Jonathan Taylor and Kelly Taylor, both of Anderson, SC, Chris Price, Shawn Price, and Danny Peregoy, all of Pennsylvania; brothers, Scott Taylor and his wife Deb and Joel Taylor; a sister, Cindy Selch and her husband Bob, all of Anderson, SC; several grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his long-time companion, Pamela A. Peregoy. The Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church with Mr. Chris Lynch and Reverend Mary Teasley officiating. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the church, prior to the service, on Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all of those at the Legacy that enhanced Henry's life and cared for him during his final months.
