George Amos Tenney, Sr., age 84, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Claremont, NH, he was the son of the late George Pomeroy Tenney and the late Juliette Perdosa Tenney. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. George was the Senior Vice President of Androscoggin Bank in Auburn-Lewiston, ME. He is survived by his children, George Amos Tenney, Jr., Sarah Mulkey, Susan Tenney, and Sandy Tenney, all of Belton, SC; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Brodrick Tenney; and a sister, Patty Tenney.
