Georgette Carlton Kelly, age 81, of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born March 18, 1940, in Belton, she was the daughter of the late Sherman Willie Carlton and Willie Mae Shaw Carlton. She was married to Voniver S. Kelly until his death in November 2016. Georgette spent her career as a nurse at Anderson Memorial Hospital retiring from Anderson Eye & Ear Associates. Her family was her pride and joy. She enjoyed times spent traveling with her sister. Georgette was a child of God who will be remembered by her family as a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Vonette K. Dickson (Terry) of St. Simons Island, GA, Miriam K. Bolt (Dennis) of Anderson, SC, and Donna K. Radford (Kyle) of Asheville, NC; sister, LaLain Gilmer; grandchildren, Jessica D. Malone, Michael Bolt, Matthew Bolt, Ryan Radford, Kory Radford, and Tyler Radford; and great grandchildren, Brayden, Madeline, Mckenzie, and Micah Bolt, Kaegan, Kirsten, Kaylee, Taylor, and Porter Radford, and Benjamin and Isabelle Malone. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sherie Ann Carlton. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 2, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Friday, December 3, 2021, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Dr. Melanie Timms Riddle officiating. Entombment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
