Gerald Leon Albertson, age 74, of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021. Born February 2, 1947, in Anderson, he was a son of the late Frank Albertson and Lora Mae Hicks Albertson. Gerald formerly served as a director for the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club for 32 years. He is survived by his son, Jerry L. Albertson (Lisa) of Anderson; granddaughter, Summer Albertson of Anderson; ex-wife, Grace Hancock; and sister, Brenda Albertson of Anderson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Frank, Walter, Cecil, Tony, Mike, Jim, and Danny Albertson; sisters, Barbara Williams and Ethel Smith; and step-father, Curt McConnell. A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 11:00 am at New Silver Brook Cemetery with Rev. Phillip Sears officiating.
