Gerald David Foster, 75, of Starr, SC passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at AnMed Health Medical Center.

 He was born on November 28, 1950, and was a son of the late Hillard Foster and the late Bernice Hedden Foster. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Cromer.

 After high school graduation, he attended Clemson University and began working in the construction industry. He spent thirty-five years with Matrix Construction as a project superintendent until his retirement. He was of the Baptist faith.

 Gerald was best known for his woodworking skills. He could design, make, and produce anything! His skill was unbelievable. He also enjoyed cooking and loved his basset hounds. Gerald had the character of a servant. He was readily available to help anyone in need. Gerald was a kind and gracious good man. He was a loving and devoted husband who will be missed.

 He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Angie Palmer Foster; brothers, Charles Foster and Bill Foster; sister, Dianne Conner; and many nieces and nephews.

 No services are planned at this time.
