Gerald Thomas Williams, age 74, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Rainey Hospice House.

Born September 9, 1950, in Anderson, SC, he was a son of the late Carlton Raleigh Williams and Amanda Lavada Williams. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Bob Williams and Louise Pack.

Gerald was a kind, loving, strong man with an unshakeable faith in the Lord. He was a hard worker who provided for his family, had a genuine love for people, and would give you the shirt off his back. He never forgot a birthday, loved watching Gunsmoke and football, and enjoyed golfing. He will be missed by so many because they just don't make them like Gerald anymore. He was a member of Labor of the Field Church.

He is survived by his son, Terry Williams; grandchildren, Ashley Rhodes (Brandon), Alaina Williams, and Brandon Nix; and great grandchildren, Dalayna and Declan Nix.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
