GERALINE BROWN November 9, 1930 - March 27, 2013 ANDERSON, SC Geraline Davis Brown, age 82, of 2704 Little Creek Drive, Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at her residence. Born in Porterdale, GA, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas Davis and the late Drew Willie Rooks Davis. She was a teacher's aide and a library assistant for 15 years. Geraline was a member of Meadow Brook Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Herbert O. Brown, Jr of Anderson, Cheryl Brown of Anderson and Janet Brown Walker and her husband Joseph of Union, SC; and two grandchildren, Meredith and Morgan Walker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Owen Brown, Sr.; and a sister, Dorothy Pearson. The Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 29, 2013, at 4:30 PM in the Chapel of the McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Bob Marcaurelle officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Friday, from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
