(Gus) Sutherland, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Iva, South Carolina on May 28, 1912, Mrs. Sutherland was the daughter of the late Haskell and Amanda Shirley Ivester.Survivors include her sons, Lawrence (Patsy) Sutherland and Robert (Edna) Sutherland; daughters, Mary (Charles) Kelley, and Martha (Dennis) Peeler; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; and five great, great grandchildren. Her son, James Sutherland and her sisters, Lila Moore and Cleo McGill, predeceased her.The Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, September 22, 2008 at Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was a Charter Member. The service will be conducted by the Reverend Paul Frey.
