GLADYS ANDERSON June 8, 1925 - October 16, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Gladys Majeski Smith Anderson, age 82, of 801 Bermuda Drive, Anderson, SC, died Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC on June 8, 1925, Mrs. Anderson was the daughter of the late Hamp Majeski and Willie Mae Richardson Majeski. She was a graduate of Girls' High School and worked for several years at First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Anderson. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church. Survivors include her son, Michael D. Smith and his wife, Darlene of Anderson and two grandsons, David and Andrew Smith. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, William David Smith and John Earl Anderson.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church with Pastor Howard F. Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are optional.
