Gladys Louise Partridge McAllister, age 96, of Anderson, SC passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018 at McCall Hospice House, Greenville. Born October 11, 1922 in Anderson County, SC, she was a daughter of the late J.H. "Jim" Partridge and the late Sally Campbell Partridge Anthony. She was also preceded in death by her three brothers and two sisters. She worked in textiles as a seamstress and weaver. She was a charter member of Homeland Park Baptist Church and a longtime resident of Anderson. She is survived by her son, Carl McAllister of Greer; daughters, Juanita Hanvey of Williamston and Margaret Gosnell of Marietta; sister, Irene Whitmire of Fountain Inn; six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3-3:45 pm Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow in the chapel at 4:00 pm with Rev. Mike Harrell officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McCall Hospice House, 1836 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
