She retired from the J.P. Stevens Company after thirty years of service. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church. She was a faithful pastor's wife during her husband's ministry at Asbury Baptist Church, Anderson, SC and Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Westminster, SC.She is survived by two sons, Rufus Ward Jr. and his wife Carolyn of Westminster, SC and Reverend John Ward of the home; one brother James Lowry Allen Jr., of Pendleton, SC; one sister Doris Allen Roper of Central, SC and one granddaughter Donna Ward of Westminster, SC.The Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 22, 2006 at 3:00pm in The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel officiated by the Reverend Doctor Don Cox and Reverend John Ward. Interment will follow at the Mt.
