Glenn William Jones, 69 of Anderson, SC passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Rainey Hospice House. Born October 19, 1947 in Anderson, SC, he was a son to the late Guy William Jones and Carolyn Bolding Jones. Glenn was a graduate of Crescent High School and a diehard Clemson fan. He retired as a master sergeant from the South Carolina Army National Guard after 17 years of service and served our country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Air Force. He was an avid outdoorsman and never met a tractor he could not fix. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Kathie O. Jones; son, Casey Jones of Clinton, SC; daughter, Abbie Jones of Anderson, SC and sister, Marilyn Haislip of Easley, SC. The funeral service with military honors will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery with Reverend Dr. Sinclair Lewis officiating. The family request that those attending the service to come in casual attire. The family will be at the residence.
