Born in Anderson, SC on May 28, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Elbert "Slim" Lamar Waldrup, Sr., and the late Ruth Cox Waldrup. She was retired from Ellenburg Nursing Home as a nursing assistant for 20 years. She is survived by her sons; Michael Walls (Oana) of Moore, SC, Mark Walls (Kelli) of Palm Harbor, FL; daughters, Cathy Gray of Anderson, SC, Sandy Blackwell of Easley, SC; brother, Thomas Hall Waldrup of Woodruff, SC; sisters, Clarice Waldrup Griffin of Elizabethtown, KY, Elaine Waldrup Gilbert of Anderson, SC, Nancy Waldrup Arnold, Piedmont, SC, Carolyn Waldrup Kelley of Townville, SC, Edna Waldrup Bratcher of Honea Path, SC and Diane Waldrup of Anderson, SC; thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and former husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers; Elbert Lamar Waldrup, Jr. and Harold "Snook" Waldrup; one sister, Martha Waldrup Hanks. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, with Reverend Evan Hill and Dr. Reverend Marshall Williams officiating. The family will receive friends in The McDougald Family Center following the service from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. After all services, the family will gather at the home of her sister, Nancy Arnold, 330 Brentwood Road, Piedmont, SC 29673.
