WHITEJANUARY 16, 1939 - May 30, 2007 ANDERSON, SC Mrs. Gloria Hopper White, age 68, of 502 Woodland Way, died on May 30,2007 at the Hospice House in Anderson. Born on January 16, 1939 in Anderson, Mrs. White was the daughter of the late Junius Hopper and Frances Colson Hopper. Gloria was educated in the Anderson Public School System and was a 1961 graduate of the University of South Carolina. Mrs. White's career included employment with the United States Department of Defense, the Anderson Community Theater of which she was very instrumental in the business operation, and the Administration Office of Gallant Belk Department Store in Anderson. Mrs. White was a member of the Eastern Orthodox faith. Survivors include her husband, James L. White of the home; a daughter, Kathy White Rumfellow and her husband, Glenn Rumfellow of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; four grandchildren: Matthew, Christopher, Rebecca, & David Rumfellow; and one brother, Steve Hopper and his wife, Darlene Hopper of Anderson. The Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 2, 2007 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Father Nikolay Miletkov officiating. The interment will follow in the Old Silverbrook Cemetery in Anderson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10am until 11am on Saturday.
