GRACE CARNES March 23, 1948 - February 4, 2007 ANDERSON, SCMrs. Grace Akee Carnes, age 58, wife of Michael Wayne Carnes of 400 McGee Road, Anderson, SC, died Sunday, February 4, 2007 at her residence.Born in Tuba City, Arizona on March 23, 1948, Mrs. Carnes was a daughter of the late Lee and Rena Akee. She was employed with Canteen, Inc. She grew up as a Mormon until her marriage to Wayne and now belongs to the Holiness Faith. Survivors include her husband of the home; daughters, Lisa Harris and her husband, Dean of Charleston, SC, Katrina Allen and her husband, Steve of Anderson, SC; sister, Margie Mann of Gunnison, Utah; mother-in-law, Della Carnes of Anderson, SC and four grandchildren, Justin Harris, Tyler Harris, Kylee Allen and Sydnee Allen.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Roland and Anthony Akee.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Sam Autry and Rev. David Hudgens.
