GRACE DOVE May 28, 1918 - June 19, 2012 ANDERSON, SC Grace Ransom Dove, age 94, of 926 Sandy Springs Road, Anderson passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at her residence. Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charles Newton Ransom and the late Mary Patterson Ransom. She was a homemaker. Grace was a life-long member of LaFrance Church of God where she attended the Mother's class. She is survived by her children, Gary Lee Dove and his wife Katie of La France, SC, Jerry Lynn Dove of La France, SC and Elaine Black and her husband Lee of Anderson, SC; sisters, Juanita Coffee and Peggy Hickman; 16 grandchildren , 29 great-grandchildren and a number of great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Clifford Dove; two daughters, Shirley Ann Nichols, Judy Gayle Mitchell; a brother, Theo Ransom; and sisters, Lola Mitchell, Jessie Kernels, Viola Bates, Hazel Callaham, Venetia Bailey and Virginia Brome. The Funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Dove will be held on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 2:00pm at the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Robert Ayers and Reverend James Shealy officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens in Clemson, SC. The family is at the residence and will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
