She was born in Savannah, GA, the second of six children, to Thomas Baytop Scott and Kathleen Swain Scott. In addition to her husband of 57 years, Benjamin W. Lacy, III, and her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Mozelle Scott Pointer, Mary Helen Scott Foster and Priscilla Scott Crommelin and a great grandson, Zachary Harp Lacy. She is survived by her children, Benjamin W. Lacy, IV, Thomas Scott Lacy and Kathleen Lacy Cord; brother, Robert Scott; sister, Ann Scott Wood; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.A Service was held on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Montgomery, AL.
