GRACE SELMAN REED September 4, 1910 - June 14, 2006ANDERSON, SCMrs. Grace Selman Reed, age 95 of 3308 Roosevelt Court, died Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at her residence.Born in Anderson County on September 4, 1910, Mrs. Reed was the daughter of the late Andrew Black and Sally Sargent Black. She was a homemaker and a member of Homeland Park Baptist Church. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.Survivors include a son, Oliver Selman of Anderson; daughters, Nora Lee Stamps of Anderson and Willie Pearl Holley of Abbeville; fourteen grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Lee Selman; her second husband, John H. Reed and a son, Truman Selman.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Brad Ellington and Rev. U. C. Neill. Interment will follow in Old Silverbrook Cemetery in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 16, 2006 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are optional.
