GRACE B. RICHEY April 4, 1922 - September 24, 2013 Anderson, SC Grace Parris Richey, age 91, of Anderson, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at her residence. Born in Starr, SC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Franklin Parris and the late Selma Hays Parris. She worked for over 21 years at the Scott Shirt Sewing Plant. She was a member of Rocky River Church of God and had attended Homeland Park Church of God. She is survived by her five sons, Kenneth, Tony, Danny, Mike and Darryl Richey; five daughters, Cynthia Herring, Barbara Whitten, Mary Lanier, Judy Dutton and Sharon Ming; 26 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 40 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Earl Richey; a son, Vernon Richey; two daughters, Earline Powell and Sandra Richey; and a grandson, Scottie Richey. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Homeland Park Church of God with Reverend Donnie Murdock and Reverend Vernon Soles officiating. Interment will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday at the church from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
