SIMPSONNOVEMBER 10, 1929 - March 3, 2010ANDERSON, SC ' Grace Yvonne 'Butch' Simpson, age 80, formerly of 303 Lewis Street, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at Ellenburg Nursing Home.Born in Anderson, SC, on November 10, 1929, she was a daughter of the late George William Whitfield and Eunice Crawford Whitfield. She retired from Ellenburg Nursing Home and was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.Survivors include her children: daughter, Peggy Louise Byrum of Anderson, SC; son, Brad Simpson, MD and wife, Angela of Easley, SC; sister, Elizabeth Stone of Anderson, SC; five grandchildren: Renea Mulkey and husband, Chuck, Amy Eskew and husband, Phillip, Nicole Simpson, Brad Simpson, Jr., and C.A. Simpson; and five great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Dalton Simpson; a son, Charles Dalton Simpson; and a brother, Charles Whitfield.The Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, March 6, 2010, at Pleasant View Baptist Church conducted by the Reverend Dr. Glenn Taylor.
