GRADY LEE DURHAM May 25, 1928 - May 3, 2007LA FRANCE, SCMr. Grady Lee Durham, age 78, husband of Dollie Price Buchanan Durham, of 23 Circle Street, La France, SC, died Thursday, May 03, 2007 at the Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Habersham, GA on May 25, 1928, Mr. Durham was a son of the late Ellis Jackson Durham and Lula Jane Erwin Durham. He was retired from La France Industries and was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of La France. Survivors include his wife, Dollie Price Buchanan Durham of the home; son, David J. Durham of Williamston, SC; daughter, Peggy L. Durham of Piedmont, SC, Susan D. Eaton of Greenville, SC; step-son, Kenneth Buchanan of Greenville, SC; brothers, L. C. Durham, Dennis Durham, Manuel Durham; sisters, Dicie Rollins, Bonnie Foster and Gertrude Johnson; sister-in-law, Ruby Durham Littleton. Six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren also survive.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty W. Durham; brother, R. Ray Durham, grandson, Jonathan Durham and great-grandson, Joshua Marzka.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverends Gene Burdette and Amos Littleton. Interment will follow in Graceland West Cemetery in Greenville, SC.The family received friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, May 4, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, L. C. and Bessie Durham, 133 Louise Drive, Pendleton, SC.Flowers are optional.
