Grady M. Gregory Anderson, SC Grady Manns Gregory, age 91, husband of Betty George Gregory of Anderson, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 15, 2015 at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home. Born in Halifax County, NC on February 17, 1924, Mr. Gregory was the son of the late Manns Gregory and Gladys Hux Gregory. He was a United States Marine Corps WWII veteran and served in the United States Naval Reserve. He retired from American Tobacco Company after 29 years of service. Mr. Gregory was a member of Concord Community Church and was very active in prison ministry. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Ricky J. Gregory and his wife Karen, Bobby M. Gregory and Grady M. Gregory II; daughter, Beverly G. Boone and her husband, Troy; four grandchildren, John Boone, Kinsley Mull, Beka Huguet and Meagan Gregory and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Hux Worrell and brothers, Ellis Hux and James Gregory. A Graveside Service will held on Monday, May 18, 2015 at 2:30 pm at M. J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery officiated by Kent McGahey. Interment will follow in the cemetery. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Monday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
