Gregg S. Rowe Belton, SC Gregg Sharpton Rowe, age 62, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Clinton, SC, he was the son of Virginia Sharpton Rowe and the late Gregg Rowe. He was a graduate of Greenville Technical College. Gregg experienced a long career in textiles, including Appleton Mill, JP Stevens, John D. Hollingsworth, and Blair Mill, before becoming a maintenance supervisor at Tri County Technical College. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Belton. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Patti Murdock Rowe; a daughter, Mary Katherine Rowe Flemings and her husband, Jeffery, of Columbia, SC; three grandchildren, Kennedy Adair Cobb, Kaleb Alexander Cobb, and Eden Greggory Flemings; and a special cousin, Lisa Murphy and her husband, Keith, of Spartanburg, SC. The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Belton with Reverend T. Dale Lynch officiating. The family will welcome friends in the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church of Belton, prior to the service on Friday, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. The family will be at the residence.
