On Thursday evening, October 1, 2020, Gunnar Alexander Owen Morgan, 19, of Anderson, SC, passed away at his home. Gunnar was born in Anderson, SC on July 26, 2001, the son of David Owen Morgan and Linda Fox Morgan. Gunnar was the perfect son. He was funny, happy, goofy at times, and loved life. He loved skating, art, and the mountains. For several years, he attended New Spring Church and participated in the Fuse Student Ministry. It was once said, to have a friend, you must first, be a friend. Gunnar epitomized friendship. He had many friends and it was all because, he first, was a friend. His heart was pure; trusting. He is leaving a void in the lives of those that had the privilege to know him. His memory will forever be cherished by his loving family and many friends. In addition to his parents, Gunnar will be missed by his sisters, Lexi Morgan of Anderson, SC and Savanna Purcell and her husband, Bryson of Charleston, SC; grandparents Howard and Gudrun Fox of Rock Hill, SC; uncles, Tim Morgan and his wife, Nancy of Toccoa, GA, and Marko Fox and his wife, Liz of Burbank, CA; aunt, Pam Price of Fort Mill, SC; girlfriend, Kara Busby; cousins, Sydney and Eno Fox of Burbank, CA, Sarah Morgan and Kristi Pena of Orlando, FL; and his fur babies, Luke and Bindi. Gunnar will join, in eternity, his grandfather Richard Owen Morgan, grandmother, Linda Jane Morgan, and his uncle, Jeff Price. The family will greet family and friends at the McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 11 am until 2 pm. A celebration of Gunnar's life will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at 2 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Mausoleum Chapel.
