Born in Dhaliwal, India, she was the daughter of the late Deva Singh and the late Harnam Kaur. She was the wife of the late Resham Singh until his death in 2004. Survivors include a son, Mangal Singh Padda and his wife, Ravdeep, of Anderson; a daughter, Satwinder Kaur and her husband, Ranjit, of Anderson; 8 grandchildren, Jugjot Padda, Navjot Kaur, Victor Padda, Tanjit Padda, Jasvir Singh, Mandeep Kaur, Victoria Kathleen Singh, and Jason Singh; also surviving are 2 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Gurnam was preceded in death by 3 sons, Surinder Singh, Satnam Singh and Tarlock Singh; a brother, Darshan Singh and a sister, Gurbachan Kaur. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, August 16, 2013, from 12 noon until 2:00 PM. Cremation will follow with a private family ceremony.
