GWENDOLYN DAVISIVA, SCGwendolyn Simpson Davis, age 75 of Iva, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2011, at the Rainey Hospice House.Born September 3, 1936, she was the daughter of the late I. N. and Vina Mae Simpson. She was an honor graduate of Iva High School and was a homemaker. She was survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Luther M. 'Red' Davis; daughter, Peggy Davis Rogers; son, John Terry Davis and his wife, Donna; daughter-in-law, Nanci Cooey Davis; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 6, 2011 from Noon until 1:00 pm at Iva First Baptist Church with the funeral service beginning at 1:30 pm officiated by the Reverend Jerry Gray. Interment will follow in Iva City Cemetery.
