Harold Guy Taylor, age 61, passed away on October 25, 2017. Born in Terre Haute, IN, on September 5, 1956, he is the son of Harold Edward Taylor and Leona Fulford Taylor. After graduating high school, Guy worked as a Health and Safety Engineer. He recently retired from Bechtel Oil and Gas Division in Houston. He was a member of Second Baptist Church of Houston. In addition to his parents, Guy is survived by two sons, Matthew Taylor (Angie) of Lumberton, NJ, and Scott Taylor of Terre Haute, IN; a brother, Keith Taylor (Karen) of Terre Haute, IN; a sister, Julie Lake (Brad) of Brazil, IN; and five grandchildren, Madeline, Gabriel, Susannah, Megan, and Seth. Guy was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jane Webb Taylor. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, November 4, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. following visitation on Saturday in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, with Pastor Omar Villacres officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Flowers will be accepted as tributes.
