HARLEY E. ESKEW February 23, 1940 - April 2, 2012 Ms. Harley E. Eskew, age 72, of the Lebanon Community, died Monday, April 2, 2012, at the AnMed Medical Center. Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late James Eskew and the late Nellie F. Hamilton Eskew. Ms. Eskew was retired as a school bus driver for the Anderson School District IV. She was the owner and operator of the Five Forks Caf' in the Lebanon Community. She was affectionately known as 'the Mayor of Five Forks.' She was a graduate of Girls High School in Anderson, and was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed trail riding on her horses, and making stained glass pieces. Harley is survived by a daughter, Meg Jones and her husband, Taylor, and Harley's two grandchildren, Jon Taylor Jones and Emily Jones, of Pendleton, SC; a brother, Thomas Eskew of Atlanta, GA; a sister, Mary Eskew Rowell of Spartanburg, SC; also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Ms. Eskew was preceded in death by a brother, Paul H. Eskew and a sister, Carolyn E. Fleishman.Funeral Services for Ms. Eskew will be held Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 3 PM at the Lebanon Baptist Church, with Rev. Harry Warren officiating. The family will receive friends at the McDougald Funeral Home Wednesday, April 4, from 6 PM until 8 PM.
