Harold M. Bouchillon, 89, husband of Becky Riley Bouchillon, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019 at his residence. Born July 29, 1929, in Greenwood, SC, Harold was the son of the late Theodore P. Bouchillon and Martha Cleo Mitchell Bouchillon. Harold was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Frazier. Harold proudly served his country in the United States Army in the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post #14 in Anderson, SC. He worked for BASF as a store clerk retiring after 23 years of faithful service and was also a member of Pope Drive Baptist Church. Harold is survived by his loving wife Becky Riley Bouchillon, happily married for 68 years, sons, Mike E. Bouchillon of Bordeaux, SC, Hal L. Bouchillon (Debra Nicholson) and Ted R. Bouchillon (Betty), both of Williamston, SC, and J. Victor Bouchillon of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Blanche B. Lindsey and Martha Green; grandchildren, Jacob Bouchillon, Sara Holland (Adam), Angela McClain (Jon), Olivia Bouchillon, Jeff and Angie Scott, and C.J. and Hayden Scott; and great-grandchildren Bentley and Riverlynn Durst. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2019 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Matt Danuser, Rev. Ken Wright and Mr. Lloyd Foster officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park with military honors.
