He was retired from J. P. Stevens Company in Seneca, SC and was currently a carrier for the Anderson Independent Mail. He was a United States Army Korean War Veteran and was of the Holiness Faith. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.Survivors include his children, Diane Floyd and her husband, Billy of Sandy Springs, SC, Cathy Blume of Anderson, SC and Jimmy Cain and his wife, Angie of Sandy Springs, SC; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Boyd, Monroe, Griffin, William, J. B. and James Cain and son-in-law, Jerry Blume.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2007 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Sam Duncan.
