Dove and Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Etheridge Dove. He retired in1971 from the United States Air Force after 21 years, having served during the Japanese occupation, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. In 1988, he retired from careers in real estate and insurance. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Anderson, where he served as a member of the Church Counsel, former Treasurer, and as a member of the Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sue Stanford Dove; daughter, Nancy E. Dove of Atlanta, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth P. and Shirley F. Dove of Roebuck, SC; grandson, Michael C. Dove of Roebuck, SC; granddaughter, Kelsey L. Dove of Charlotte, NC; two sisters, Arlene D. Whitlow and Beth D. Dotson of Elberton, GA.He was preceded in death by brothers, Paul Dove, Norman Dove and William 'Butch' Dove and sister, Joann Dove Pruitt. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church officiated by the Reverend Robert Wilde. Burial will follow in M. J.
