Mr. Harold Elige Marett, age 75, husband of JoAnn Bowen Marett, of 406 Old Asbury Road, Anderson, SC 29625, died Friday, July 28, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital, Greenville, SC.Born in Fair Play, SC, on February 19, 1931, he was the son of the late William Paul Marett and the late Carrie Teasly Marett. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and was retired from Tool & Die at True Temper. Mr. Marett was a member of Belmont Church of God of Prophecy.Survivors include his wife of the home; daughters, Carol Becknell and husband Harold, Seneca, SC, and Myra Morgan and husband Brian, St. Augustine, FL; brother, Horace Marett, Anderson; and sister, Hazel Smith, Anderson.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wycliff Marett and Ralph Marett; and two sisters, Dorothy Carnes and Louise Kay.The Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 31, 2006, at 11:00 A.M. at the Belmont Church of God of Prophecy with the Reverend Alan Rhodes, Reverend Scott Neill and Rev. Luther Cooke officiating.
