May 7, 1936 - August 18, 2006ANDERSON, SCMr. Harold Donald McKinley, Sr., age 70, of 306 Chestnut Boulevard, Anderson, SC, died Friday, August 18, 2006 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC on May 7, 1936, Mr. McKinley was a son of the late John B. McKinley and Sula Harris Rutledge McKinley. He was retired from truck driving and the Anderson County Road Maintenance Department. He participated in Toys for Tots.A devoted husband and father, Mr. McKinley is survived by his wife, Patsy Branyon McKinley of the home; children, Jackie McKinney of Greenwood, SC, Cindy Loftin of Mt. Dora, FL, Lisa Shomper of Highlands, NC, Harold Donald McKinley, Jr., Larry Wayne McKinley, Kathy Cooper, and Kenneth Lane McKinley, all of Anderson, SC; sisters, Irene Boggs of Kingsport, TN; Frances Lanternman of Meridian MS; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren with two grandchildren, Michelle Forster and William McKinley and a great-grandson, Brandin Hawkins McKinley, all raised in the home. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2006 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Sam Duncan. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 19, 2006 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are optional.
