Owens, Jr., age 63, husband of LuAnn Pilgrim Owens of 1024 McFalls Circle, died Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at the Rainey Hospice House.Born in Strabings, Germany on October 20, 1947, Mr. Owens was a son of the late Harold R. Owens and Marlene Owens. He was a graduate of Palmetto High School and Tri-County Technical College. Mr. Owens was a United States Air Force veteran. He retired from BASF. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed being a Papa to his two grandchildren. He was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church in Williamston, SC. He is survived by his wife of the home and his special family; Josh and Emily Norris and their children, Hunter and Caleb; brother, David M. Owens of Easley, SC.A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park officiated by the Reverend Brent Lollis.
