Harold Matthews "Chip' Smith, Jr., 84, of Anderson, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at his home. Born November 8, 1934 in Orange, NJ, he was the son of the late Harold Matthews Smith, Sr. and Eda Rose Smith. Chip worked with Caldwell Tractor in Fairfield, NJ and had also worked with the military police. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. He is survived by his wife, Jane Fillingham Smith of the residence; sons, Matthew B. and Andrew P. Smith; sisters, Priscilla Hopkins and Virginia Marriner and three grandchildren.
