Harold Garland "Sport" Sullivan, 82, of Anderson, SC passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Rainey Hospice House. He was owner operator of a trucking company and had also worked at Timms Harley Davidson in Anderson. He was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church and was active in Toys for Tots. Born July 20, 1935 in Fairplay, SC, he was a son of the late John Clarence Sullivan and the late Lillian Bell Gambrell Sullivan. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 58 years, Barbara Tyner Sullivan, Cindy Parris, Nan and Donney Mann and Courtney; 2 grandsons and 4 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Frank Cullen Sullivan and sisters, Willie Mae Maddox and Dorothy Mae Hendricks. The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm Saturday, January 6, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held in the chapel at 3:30 pm with Rev. Tom Turner officiating.
