September 7, 1922 - November 8, 2005 ANDERSON, SCMr. Harold Vandiver Sullivan, Jr., age 83, of 1215 Briarwood, Anderson, SC, husband of the late Margaret Helen Gallant Sullivan, died Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at the Presbyterian Home of Easley, SC.Born in Anderson, SC on September 7, 1922, Mr. Sullivan was the son of the late Harold V. Sullivan and Sarah McFall Sullivan. He was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and was a retired attorney. He also retired as Lt. Col. of the U.S. Air Force Reserves and was a former chairman of the Anderson County Library Board. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Anderson and also served as a deacon.Survivors include a son, Harold V. Sullivan, III and his wife, Mary M. of Easley, SC; a daughter, Katherine S. Link and her husband, Richard A. of Mt. Pleasant, SC; a sister, Elizabeth S. Daly of Anderson, SC; two grandchildren, Margaret E. Sullivan and Harold V. Sullivan and two step-grandchildren, Sean Link and Melissa Link. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2005 at 3:00 pm at Old Silverbrook Cemetery in Anderson, SC by the Reverend Dr. Alan Elmore.
